Security Certified Network Professional

The Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP) program will focus on the two critical areas of security that are the foundational defense of networks. Firewalls and Intrusion Detection. The up-to-date security lessons and the hands-on labs bring the security networking world to the candidates. The SCNP exam is designed to further validate the critical skills required by IT and security professionals. These skills include, but are not limited to:  Cryptography, Hardening Linux Computers, Hardening Windows Computers, Ethical Hacking Techniques, Security on the Internet and World Wide Web, Performing a Risk Analysis, Creating a Security Policy and Analyzing Packet Signatures.  Strategic Infrastructure Security replaces Network Defense and Countermeasures with updated technology and intense, hands on labs.

The SCNP program is divided into two exams, which have corresponding courses. The exams as a whole, are designed to validate the foundational skills required by security professionals.

·         SCNS-100: Tactical Perimeter Defense – 5 days

·         SCNP-200: Strategic Infrastructure Security – 5 days
